The object of the activity is for children to use all the words to create a story. Some examples of story openers are: The ox and the octopus came over to see the old man… The unicorn was underwater when… Inside the igloo the insects ate ice cream… Children can illustrate their pictures and share their stories in group / circle time. Cut and laminate and reuse in different ways: e.g. Can children listen to and recognise sounds and then find the matching pictures? Can they distinguish between animal and transport sounds?

A great lesson for EYFS and / or KS1. Very suitable too, for SEN pupils with differentiated activities included. The PPT shows 10 slides with 3 pictures on each.
